For sizing, the molds require replacement, which is facilitated by a convenient side-pull trolley. This well-designed tube mill ensures that adjustments for forming different sizes are seamless, while the side-pull trolley streamlines the process of sizing mold replacement. The efficiency and precision of our tube mill contribute to a stable and reliable production of high-quality round pipes.

ZTF(FFX) Flexible Forming Tube Mill

Our advanced tube mill utilizes the innovative ZTF forming technology, which divides the forming section into a breakdown section and a fin-pass section. The ZTF technology is specifically implemented in the breakdown section of our tube mill, enabling the production of a wide range of round pipes with a single set of rollers (comprising approximately 60% of the entire mill rollers). This unique feature of our tube mill dramatically reduces the need for frequent roller changes. When switching to different sized pipes, only the rollers in the fin-pass and sizing sections of our tube mill require replacement. This approach results in significant savings on roller costs and a considerable increase in productivity.

The latest generation ZTF technique (ZTF4), integrated into our tube mill, allows for fully automatic adjustment of roller positions in the breakdown section. This minimizes or eliminates the need for manual adjustments, significantly improving productivity while reducing labor, maintenance costs, and potential hazards. The control system of our tube mill employs close-loop servo control to ensure the accuracy and stability of roller positions, guaranteeing consistent and high-quality pipe production.
